The Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors reports that there were 489 residential property sales in March 2020 with an average selling price of just under $358,000. This marks a drop of 9.4% in the number of sales compared to March 2019 while the average price is up 7.5% compared to March 2019 but down 7.4% compared to the February 2020 average price of just over $386,000.
The number of listings at the end of March 2020 was 796, an increase of 10.7% compared to a year ago as the early stages of Covid-19 took effect on the local market.
